ABOUT LAFAYETTE, CO
Located in the southeastern part of Boulder County, bordered by Erie, Broomfield and Louisville. Lafayette has a total area of 9.6 miles and host a variety of events including the Oatmeal Festival, A Peach Festival and has a unique gathering plat in Old Town called Festival Plaza. Lafayette was founded in 1878 by Mary Miller. She and her husband, Lafayette Miller, had moved to the area to farm land acquired via the Homestead Act in 1871.
